For two years 2007-2009 I worked for the North East Oecumenical Course (NEOC) which
was an ecumenical and regional training scheme covering the north east of England.
Prior to the restructuring of theological education it was part of a network of part-time
courses that trained men and women for a variety of Christian ministries. Ordinands
came from the Church of England and the United Reformed Church and also included
independent students. I had a very part-time role with NEOC (15 hrs per week on average)
running the residential programme.
ERMC Since Sept 2011 I have been employed by the Eastern Region Ministry Course (ERMC). I am Vice Principal responsible for Admissions and Local Church Supervision. I teach Biblical Studies and Preaching and anything else I don’t say no to quick enough. ERMC covers 6 Dioceses in eastern England - Peterborough, Ely, Norwich, St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, St Albans and a bit of Chelmsford. We also train students for the Diocese of Europe and the Methodist Church. We are part of the Cambridge Theological Federation.
